Making a screen shot in Mac OS X tiger, panther, leopard, snow leopard
Want to make a screen shot on a Mac (OS X, any version)? Just press command + shift + 3 (the number) simultaneously (press and hold command and shift, then press 3).
The screen shot appears on the OS X desktop (already saved). To crop, double click the saved screen shot file. Mac OS X will open a preview allowing you to crop the screenshot from there.
