What is a flypage in Virtuemart?

Virtuemart Flypage

When they first encounter a virtuemart flypage, most people ask themselves "what the heck is a flypage"?

Virtumarte uses templates to difin how things are presented on screen. The same as Joomla templates. Virtuemart templates are called "themes".

Different pages of a Virtuemart theme have different names depending on what they are displaying.

A flypage is simply a display page for your online shop which shows the details about the product.

Once you get the hang of this: Theme=Virtuemart template + Flypage=Virtuemart display page, then you can get on with learning about the Virtuemart component itself.
